Reformation work began in Tramelan, Switzerland, and believers kept the Seventh Day Sabbath as the bible taught. Jakob Erzberger was a young man studying for the ministry, as he had been converted by Michael Czechowski. Jakob would go on to be the first European ordained minister. He spent years working in Switzerland and Germany, and was vital to the fledging church in its early days.
