John Harvey Kellogg is famous today for his breakfast cereals. However, prior to this, he was one of the foremost physicians in the United States, as he became the director of Ellen White's Western Health Reform Institute. At one point, his hospital was one of the biggest in the USA, but his relationship with the church and its teachings would get complicated, and eventually there would be a parting of ways with Adventism. A great life and talent that would sadly veer off track from the Reformation.
