John Wycliffe: Worldwide Witness | Episode 16 | Lineage

40 years after his death in 1384, we now uncover the destiny of John Wycliffe. His remains were dug up and burnt to ashes - which were then thrown in a nearby River Swift in Lutterworth. As the waters of this river would flow around the world, this symbolism would come to later represent his legacy, and the worldwide influence of God’s word following Wycliffe’s translation.
