St Columba & Iona Scotland - Celtic Church Missionary | Episode 2 | Lineage

26 Jan 2017

In episode 2, we explore the work of St Columba, the great missionary and trainer of missionaries. St Columba was originally from Ireland and worked there for many years; he was credited with raising over 300 churches. He continued this work overseas and set sail to Iona, Scotland in the year 563 with 200 of his companions. St Columba set up a school on this small barren and windswept island that had a great impact and become a central training point of the Celtic Church for several centuries.
